“There is no path to happiness, happiness is the path” and the Diamine Imperial Purple is lining the way. I’ll be honest, I had some hesitations at first due to the cheap prices Diamine inks go for but cheese and rice this ink is amazing. I’ve been eager to get over a stomach flu so I could review this ink so let’s just jump in and get our hands stained!
Diamine is a manufacturing company in England celebrating it’s 150 years of making inks and other stationary products. That is just crazy. One of their inks was even used by President Obama to sign a nuclear arms treaty. My mind would just be blown if one of my products was used for something as symbolic as that.
This is the 30ml bottle and although it is made out of plastic it is a really good design. The bottle is rectangular which makes it very easy to store and doesn’t take very much space. The design of the logo is pretty sweet too. That is borderline tattoo worthy in my opinion.
Diamine Imperial Purple is a pretty killer purple ink with it’s smooth and highly saturated color. It lays down as a dark purple and after it dries it lightens up quite nicely. This ink also dries quickly but keep in mind it is not waterproof by any means. If you want something different that pops off the page, try Imperial Purple.
I’ll be straight forward with you. I can’t stop using this ink in my pen and I also can’t help but enjoy how awesome it looks in a demonstrator pen. It’s just sexy.
- Price makes my wallet happy
